A month later…

The seminar is finally over!  After all these last few months of planning, preparing, and problem solving, we were able to execute a successful event for our customers and colleagues.  My team was great and pulled everything off perfectly.  It was definitely a long week and we all have a sense of accomplishment now that it’s done.

Now, I’m taking time off to spend it with family in NH.  I was kind to them and others here in New England - I brought the sunny, warm clear weather that they’ve all be waiting for all summer long.  It’s been PERFECT the entire time I’ve been here.  The kind of days you want to bottle up and open in January or February.  I’m glad I was able to help .

Last night, Ma, RLM and I went to see my cousins, TG and her sister, NoMori.  We played mini-golf (which NONE of us are good at) and had a cookout after,  We laughed all night - a true girls’ night out.  I’m glad we were able to get together and spend time together.  The loss of their dad in May has heightened our awareness of the value of time and family.

Tonight, I’m with RLM and Ma again to have dinner with PB at the Wentworth - this is soooooo exciting!  Back when Ma and I were catering, we were the ‘hired help’  and came and went through the back door.  Tonight, (as far as I know) we go in the FRONT door, and will get waited on!!!  The most exciting part - we’re on the OTHER side of that kitchen door!  This may seem like a small thing, but one that is exciting to me.  I’ll tell you how it is.
